So I have discovered that my two year old daughter is scared of the mayor from Nightmare Before Christmas. She’s not scared of the clown with the tear away face or oogie boogie but shes scared of the mayor? Its interesting how a toddler’s mind works, isn’t it? She says “I scaaaared!” in the most adorable voice ever. So I have to fast forward any scenes with the mayor or I hug her with her back to the tv so she wont see him. I dont know if my daughter will be scared of clowns as bad as I am but I dont plan on knowing any time soon. Its not like we are planning a trip to the damn circus, you know?
Ok I wanted to address something that I have been wanting to for the past couple of weeks. You will not find any how to’s on how to date a sparkly vampire here on my blog. So you can stop googling that, yes I’m talking to you all 23 people who keep searching it to get to my blog. And the other 44 people who keep googling naked pictures of edward cullen and edward pattinson all I say to you is good luck with that, you sparkly vampire lover. And I mean that in the nicest way possible. Maybe I shouldnt talk about sparkly vampires if I dont want people getting to my blog searching that right? Yeah, very smart, Pam. Sigh.
Nothing is really new around here but I have been catching up on sleep and that is going.. well, I guess. Its just that no matter how much sleep I get, it doesnt seem to be enough. But Im too blame for that since I was going to sleep at 9 in the morning all throughout November so that was a smart move. Anyway. Sleep is good. And I finally have my daughter on a sleep routine because she was kind of a midnight sleeper and now shes a eight pm sleeper and let me tell you, its so much better this way.
Oh and also. Meghan is doing a Annual Bloggy Holiday Card Exchange and Im participating. Have you seen the little button on the sidebar there? Yup click on it and it will take you to the post where she talks about it. You’re not actually sending out millions of holiday cards because really think of the trees you’re killing and we are all trying to lessen our carbon footprint, right? Because if you aren’t then you’re in trouble and global warming is all your fault. Ok, not really but yeah dude save paper, dammit! So yeah celebrate the holidays with us and post your holiday card on your blog on December 15 to wish all your readers and bloggy guests a happy everything and all that good stuff!
And also, something uber important before I forget! Megan and another blogger are doing a slideshow that will go to Anissa. This is from Megan’s site:
Most of you have heard about the devastating stroke our fellow blogger and friend Anissa suffered two weeks ago and have felt helpless when it comes to being able to help her… Yes, there are ways to donate money and awesome t-shirts to buy (with 100% of the proceeds going to her family) but still, it seems like there isn’t much we can do to help her.
So if youre a blogger (you dont have to know Anissa to participate) and you want to help and send a picture, here is how: Take a picture of yourself. Of your boobs. Or your face. Or both. Write something on there like For Anissa “Sending you love” or “Keep fighting” and email it to foranissa(at)gmail(com) with your name and blog URL. I will be doing mine tomorrow when I buy my new pretty VS bra, because I know Anissa will appreciate it! We are rooting for you, Anissa! Keep believing!
