It’s everywhere. Your family member who is always starting some crap. Your former friend who always threatened suicide because things didn’t go her way. The lady at the store throwing a hissy fit because you grabbed something she was thinking of getting but you beat her to it. Someone on tv having 14 kids so she wouldn’t feel lonely. Someone online lying about a baby that never existed and starting a donation page. Someone on tv making a ‘weather balloon’ and claiming their kid was in there but wasn’t.

When I was in a community for moms, one that rhymes with pate and ends with mom, I was the target of drama. It got to the point that I had to make a new screen name and the drama still followed me. As hooked as I was to that site, I had to make a choice, and leave it. I got hurt so many times by people whom I thought were my friends, and close ones even. Of course I made many new friendships some of whom I still talk to like @E_Rizzle and @MissMope. {You will see that on occasion, like on email or one of one of my blog posts I refer to people as @ their screen name on twitter but that’s how awesome twitter is}

My point is that no matter how hard you try to walk away from drama, you’re always going to run into it {or find it} somewhere else. Its never going to go away because believe it or not, (some) people need drama in their lives like we need oxygen. Its like a craving, like that caramel machiatto or those curly fries.

Now I’m craving curly fries, is jack I n the box still open at 11pm?
